Every year Harron & Associates produces the Prudential Insurance Company's annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, which attracts more than 30,000 people—despite the often chilling temperatures. The tree, a gift from the people of Nova Scotia, thanks Bostonians for their help 80 years ago when a munitions explosion leveled the city of Halifax. National and local media  have featured the Tree Lighting as a symbol of the season. In attendance every year is the premier of Nova Scotia and Boston's mayor. This joyous event positions Prudential prominently and positively in the minds of consumers.
